EXFO FTB-5800

CD Analyzer Module

The EXFO FTB-5800 is a chromatic dispersion analyzer module, which can be used for a variety of analysis and testing applications, such as expanding your wireless or wire line network, testing a 100G Ethernet, or if you require a network qualification and CD compensation up to 40 Gbit/sec.

EXFO's FTB-5800 uses the approved phase-shift method to measure chromatic dispersion (CD) in networks and fiber links in DWDM, long-haul and ultra-long-haul systems. With data rates reaching 10 Gb/s (OC-192, STM-64) and 40 Gb/s (OC-768, STM-256), CD characterization is critical. Housed in the FTB-400 portable platform, the FTB-5800 Chromatic Dispersion Analyzer offers speed, accuracy and high performance for all your CD test needs in the CO and in the field. Test through EDFAs, and benefit from no communication between source and receiver.

TRS-RenTelco can provide you the EXFO FTB-5800 chromatic dispersion (CD) analyzer module for rent or lease with 365-day, 24/7 customer support. Our skilled technicians and metrologists calibrate each test equipment to stringent standards in our 50 GHz ANSI/NCSL Z540-1 compliant lab. We ship the product with minimal lead time.
