Generators

A signal generator is a piece of electronic test equipment used to generate different types of electrical waveforms over a wide range of frequencies. There are a variety of types of signal generators such as function generators, arbitrary waveform generators, analog signal generators and vector signal generators to name a few. A function generator is capable of generating simple CW waveforms like sine waves or sawtooth waveforms, while the vector signal generator is capable of generating much more complex waveforms used in the wireless communications industry.
