The EXFO FTB Lite 975 is a fully automated fiber certification platform engineered for the demands of modern data centers, AI infrastructure, telecom networks, and FTTx deployments. Supporting simplex, duplex, and high-density multi-fiber certification for up to 24 fibers, it performs fast bidirectional Tier-1 testing—including insertion loss (IL), optical return loss (ORL), fiber length, polarity, and continuity validation—with minimal user intervention. Its innovative SmartRef™ technology simplifies the referencing process through one-touch automation, delivering highly accurate and repeatable results while reducing operator error. Combined with touchless FasTesT™ operation, built-in LTE connectivity, and cloud-enabled reporting through EXFO Exchange, the FTB Lite 975 helps technicians complete certification projects faster while maintaining compliance and documentation requirements.

Designed with future expansion in mind, the FTB Lite 975 can be configured with optional onboard OTDR and EXFO’s intelligent Optical Link Mapper (iOLM) capabilities, transforming the platform from a high-performance certifier into a powerful troubleshooting and characterization tool. These optional Tier-2 capabilities enable technicians to quickly locate faults, identify connectors and splices, and perform detailed fiber characterization from a single platform. With support for MPO and MMC multi-fiber architectures, remote referencing up to 10 km, and comprehensive reporting tools, the FTB Lite 975 provides a scalable solution that combines automated certification, advanced diagnostics, and end-to-end workflow efficiency for today's increasingly complex fiber networks.

• Supports simplex, duplex, and multi-fiber certification up to 24 fibers (Base-8, Base-12, Base-16, and Base-24 architectures).
• Performs bidirectional Tier-1 OLTS measurements including insertion loss (IL), optical return loss (ORL), fiber length, polarity, and continuity validation.
• Optional onboard OTDR and EXFO iOLM capabilities for advanced Tier-2 fault location and fiber characterization.
• Tests at 1310/1550 nm wavelengths, with select models also supporting 1625 nm operation.
• Delivers ±0.1 dB insertion loss measurement uncertainty for highly accurate fiber certification results.
• Provides testing speeds as fast as 3 seconds, with 12- and 24-fiber links tested in as little as 4–6 seconds.
• Features SmartRef™ one-touch referencing with remote referencing capability up to 10 km apart.
• Offers a 45 dB insertion loss range and up to 45 dB ORL measurement limit.
• Includes an 8-inch sunlight-readable color touchscreen with built-in LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS/GNSS connectivity.
• Provides up to 10 hours of battery operation, with onboard storage for up to 60,000 simplex/duplex tests or 40,000 multi-fiber tests.
