The iPA is a battery powered PIM Test Analyzer versatile enough to support multiple test scenarios such as testing at the top of the tower, base of tower, roof top and in-building for DAS systems. This Kaelus PIM test analyzer offers an innovative design that's focused on increasing efficiency and safety.
The iPA is an IEC compliant high-power instrument that is highly portable, rugged, and reliable. Each iPA comes equipped with a protected touch screen interface for local control as well as an iPad Mini for remote control allowing the operator hands-free dynamic testing to ensure an easy and efficient portable field testing experience.
The key features and specifications of Kaelus (formerly Summitek) iPA-0901A include:
- Rugged and reliable; designed with tower climbers in mind
- Frequency increment in steps of 100kHz to any frequency in the specified transmit bands
- Calculates the IM product frequencies automatically
- Tablet computer with Wi-Fi included to transfer control of iPA
- Simple to operate iPA touch screen interface
- Extensive reporting capabilities
- The measurement modes include spectrum monitor, frequency sweep and time trace modes
- Eco Mode to conserve battery life when not in use
- Measurement method is of reverse (reflected) PIM, 3rd and 5th order. (iPA-2100A 3rd, 5th and 7th order)
- Residual PIM operating system ports < -117dBm/-160dBc maximum (<-125dBm/-168dBc typical)
- Multiple interface ports comprising of 1x RF output (7-16 DIN female), 1x USB 2.0 Host, 1x USB 2.0 Slave, 1x SD; 1x monitor port (SMB female), 1x SMA-RP (Wi-Fi external antenna)
- Wide operating temperature range of -10?C to 45?C
