Fluke Networks discontinued the DTX-1800 due to the obsolescence of replacement components. Service and calibration will no longer available after June 30, 2018.
Fluke introduced the VERSIV Platform as the replacement component for the DTX Series. Changes in the industry and new capabilities such as NBASE-T, Category 8, and PoE make it necessary to utilize a cabling certification system that will support these latest standards and allow for upgrades to future standards.
FASTER SET UP. Versiv provides the ability to enter the testing details for the job only once. The choice of only the correct tests for a specific job becomes valuable when testers move from job to job.
FASTER TESTING. Versiv is twice as fast for Cat 6A and four times faster for fiber loss testing.
REDUCED MISTAKES. Allows testing selections as defined for specific jobs only with the ability to track status from any mobile device, and a warning when it is time for calibration.
FASTER REPORTING. Versiv uses the same software as DTX, so there is no learning curve. You will be able to upload the results to the Linkware Live cloud service, which automatically assigns the right tests to the right job – for all your testers.
FUTURE READY. Versiv can take on jobs from Cat 5 to Cat 8 supporting future measurements such as TCL and resistance unbalance. It also has the capabilities for certification of coax and standard or industrial Ethernet path cords in both directions, as well as testing single mode fibers that are more than 10 times as long.
